I watched that clip this weekend over on the Play Again website. Remember that teacher’s homework assignment I shared last week? “Play.” I was so thrilled by it, until I heard one child came back the next day needing an explanation. “What should we play? Where? How?”
Huh? Kids should just know this stuff. It saddens me that they don’t. We’ll just keep talking about the joys, discoveries, adventures, creativity, and unexpected moments.

7.5 hours!!! Holy crapola! That is out of control and unfortunately I know some kiddos who don’t know what good ole fashioned play is. It is sad – and discouraging BUT we still have time to make a difference!
