Mystery Critter #42

kids

Hello wildlife detectives! It’s that time again — time to play Mystery Critter and then head out into the world to see what wildlife you can spot.

So, put on your thinking caps and let’s get to it! And remember, no peeking! ;-)

CRITTER CLUES:

  • I am quite small
  • You will probably hear me rather than see me
  • I am nocturnal
  • My habitat is in wooded areas, near water (permanent or temporary)
  • I am one of TGSG’s personal faves! :-)

So, what am I?

Make your guess then go to eNature for the answer and more interesting facts. You can even lend an ear!

Did you get it right?

If not, no worries. You will have another chance next week!

Whether you live in the city, suburbs or a rural area, there is wildlife just waiting to be discovered. Take some time this weekend to unplug and check out the wild in your world.

And don’t forget! Join the Wildobs community and share your wild adventures with the world.

Happy Birthday, Grass Stain Guru!

Esme Wedding Sample

Cheers to mud pies and puddle jumping. To going barefoot in the grass and catching perfect snowflakes on out-stretched tongues.

Cheers to the feeling of sun on our faces and the taste of fresh berries picked from the garden. To sunsets that stretch across forever and to moments that last a life time.

Here’s to a million more lighting bugs and nights spent swapping stories around a campfire.

Cheers to the kids in all of us — and to the children’s lives we all touch in one way or another.

Thanks for spending this year with me, dear readers, and for always being welcome playmates in my sandbox. It means the world to me.

Now, who wants a cupcake?!
