Mystery Critter #35

IMG_1604.JPG

New year, and all new critters to discover! Big ones. Small ones…and everything in between.

That’s right — it’s time to get back to the wildlife game I affectionately call, Mystery Critter.

So, put on your best thinking caps, and let’s play!

CRITTER CLUES
:

  • I am quite common
  • There are over 100 subspecies of little old me
  • I can be found in a variety of habitats & geographic regions
  • I love seeds, nuts, insects, and even fungus (yum!)
  • My nickname could be “Prey” — lots of critters put me on their menus!

What am I? Make your guess then go to eNature for the answer and more interesting facts. Did you get it right?

If not, no worries. You will have another chance next week!

Now, head outside and see what critters you can spot today! Join the Wildobs community and share your wild adventures with the world.
