Mystery Critter #32

I see you!

OK, who’s ready for another round of Mystery Critter?! Let’s put that nature knowledge to the test, folks! After 32 weeks of critter clues, you have to be getting really good at this.

So, let’s get to it. Put on those thinking caps — and remember, no cheating! ;-)

CRITTER CLUES:

  • I am an omnivore
  • I am found throughout much of North America, including parts of Canada and Mexico
  • In the east, I am a descended from house pets of the 1940s
  • I can be found in residential and urban areas in the East, but also in deserts, orchards, and coastal valleys in the West.

What am I? Make your guess, and then go to eNature for the answer and more interesting facts. Did you get it right?! If not, no worries — you’ll have another chance next week!

I bet you have seen this Mystery Critter before. I know I see them around my house all the time. Take a walk this weekend and explore your nearby nature. Mother Nature always has something beautiful in store.

And don’t forget to let everyone know what you see! Join the Wildobs community and report your wildlife observations. It’s a great way to keep track of your wild adventures and share info with others.
