Mystery Critter #24

Cordoba Vision

It’s that time again — time to play Mystery Critter. So, let’s get to it, wildlife detectives! Put on those thinking caps and let’s play.  And remember — no cheating! ;-)

  • I can be found in cities, parks and farmlands;
  • I dine on small birds, rodents, and insects;
  • Some say I hover;
  • I have rust-colored markings; and
  • Both parents are involved in rearing the young.

What am I? Make your guess, and then go here for the answer and more interesting facts. Did you get it right?! If not, no worries — you’ll have another chance next week!

If you’re looking, you might have seen this Mystery Critter before.  It’s amazing what you can see when you take the time to look. No matter where you live, there is plenty of wildlife to spot. Slow down and have a look this weekend. And a listen…

And don’t forget to let everyone know what you see! Join the Wildobs community and report your wildlife observations. It’s a great way to keep track of your wild adventures and share info with others.
