Giving Back: The Family Eco-Challenge

As reader’s of this blog know, our relationship with nature is something I deeply believe is an important part of life. How we connect to the natural world, making time to get outdoors and play and enjoy time exploring our surroundings, watching wildlife, and experiencing the quiet and beauty that nature give us is a piece of life that should not be lost in our fast-paced world. From cradle to grave, nature’s beauty offers something that man’s heart needs.

A part of loving and enjoying our planet, is taking steps to take care of it. As my friend The Good Human says, “Good planets are hard to find.”

The great folks over at Play Outdoors are running an exciting Family Eco-Challenge that I encourage you all to participate in. It’s a great way to spend time together while giving back to your community, spending time outdoors, and learning to be good stewards of the Earth.  It’s a win-win-win!

And speaking of winning, participants are eligible to win a Play Outdoors shopping spree for great kids’ outdoor clothing and gear. So get started! Check out the Family Eco-Challenge today and give something back to Mother Nature.
