It’s that time again — Frolic Friday! Time to shake off the work week and put more fun back into your life. This week, I suggest doing some of my friend Craig’s favorite activities. If you did not read my post earlier this week, please do — In Pursuit of Happiness. Craig was a man who knew how to live. He understood life-work balance, and had such a sense of calm about him. I figure we could all learn a lesson or two in that department.
Why not…
- Plant some native species in your yard;
- Go for a nature hike; or
- Spend an evening on the porch, balcony, or in the backyard talking with friends and family — watching the stars and sharing stories and laughter.
As always, it doesn’t matter what you do, just unplug and get outdoors. There is so much to be gained by spending time with Mother Nature. Trust me, you are going to love it!
Now, if you will excuse me, I am off to the garden center to get some flowers for my balcony. Craig would have loved that.
