Really? You would think about missing baby ducks?
What’s that you say? You are ready to have some fun? We’ll, you’re in luck, since it’s Frolic Friday here at TGSG. I am prepared to give you all a hall pass from the so-called adult world for a bit. Enough work, errand-running, and staying on top of your To Do List. It’s time to put a check mark next to fun and #playoutdoors.
So, let’s get to it! Join me and TGSG community as we kick off our shoes — actual, or metaphorical, depending on where you live — and get down to the business of some serious play. Grab the kids in your world and show them how fun is done.
Why not…
- Visit a botanical garden or arboretum near you;
- Go on a breakfast picnic. Grab your coffee, something yummy to eat, and take a good book or the newspaper and have a relaxing morning perched in a pretty spot of your choosing; or
- Check out a nearby pond, lake or water garden — it’s baby duck and geese season here in the USA!
As always, it doesn’t matter what you do. Just unplug, head outside, and GO PLAY! See what Mother Nature is up to. Relax. Get some fresh air and have some fun. I promise, that To Do List will be there when you get back — and the world will not stop spinning if everything doesn’t get done today. After all, life is for living. And remember — you have an official Grass Stain Guru Hall Pass.
