We can’t talk about play, childhood, and getting outside without a few activity ideas! Inspired by the lovely Photo Sundays at Twilight Earth, I’ve decided to start Frolic Fridays. Each Friday will be dedicated to outdoor activity ideas — inspiration to get your frolic on! With the weekend upon us, everyone should be able to make some time to play outdoors. So let’s go — time to earn this week’s grass stains!
Why not…
• Find a hill to roll down, arms crossed and smile on face;
• Take a walk in a favorite park, or find a new one; or
• Go on a photo safari — taking pictures is a great way for kids to explore the outdoors!

We love dancing in the rain (when it is warm of course) and making mud pies. And Sandia , the kingdom in our sandbox, inhabited by wood chip lords and soldiers, is due to come alive again as the days get warmer.
Mud pies are an absolute childhood must! And adulthood, for that matter. I encourage dancing in the rain, and just about everywhere else!
